Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information TwitterVideoDownloader.org ("we", "us") handles when you use the website at https://twittervideodownloader.org. The short version: you don't create an account, we don't store the videos you download, and we keep as little data as the service needs to run.

Information we process

• Links you paste. To find a video, the post link is sent to our servers, which look up the public post on X and return the addresses of its media files. We do not attach these links to an identity and do not keep a history of what you looked up.
• The media itself. Videos and GIFs are downloaded by your browser directly from Twitter's CDN. They do not pass through our servers. GIF conversion runs on your device and the result is never uploaded.
• Technical logs. Like most websites, our infrastructure records basic request data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, time and error codes. We use it to keep the service running, measure performance and block abuse, and keep it only as long as needed for those purposes.
• Rate limiting. Requests may be counted per IP address for a short time so that automated traffic cannot overload the service.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and whether downloads succeed. We use Google Analytics and Plausible Analytics; Google Analytics may set cookies, Plausible does not use cookies. We may show advertising to keep the service free; ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where the law allows it. Where required, we will ask for your consent before such cookies are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Service providers

The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests to protect the site and serve it quickly. Analytics and advertising providers process data as described above under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not run accounts, we generally hold no personal data that can be linked to you. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email contact@twittervideodownloader.org.
